Setup Guides

Android (Private DNS) Easiest
  1. Open Settings → Network & Internet (or Connections).
  2. Tap Private DNS.
  3. Select Private DNS provider hostname.
  4. Enter dns.gigachad.eu and tap Save.
Mullvad VPN App (Android / iOS / PC)
  1. Open the Mullvad app → Settings (gear icon) → VPN settings.
  2. Turn on Use custom DNS server.
  3. Enter 2.28.129.247.
  4. Turn off Mullvad's default "DNS content blockers" to prevent rule conflicts.
Browsers (Firefox, Brave, Chrome)
  1. Go to your browser's Settings → Privacy and security.
  2. Find Secure DNS (or DNS over HTTPS).
  3. Select Custom provider.
  4. Enter https://dns.gigachad.eu/dns-query.
Apple iOS / macOS

iOS does not have a native text field for DoT hostnames without third-party utilities. If connecting through Mullvad VPN, use the Mullvad instructions above. For system-wide encrypted DNS outside VPN, generate an encrypted DNS profile pointing to dns.gigachad.eu.
